(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I hate Black Ops Multiplayer Map Pack maps, I enjoy the zombie maps. I want to remove Multiplayer maps or disable them but still be able to play the zombie maps, is there a way to do it?

That was one of the features I was wondering Call of Duty should add. The ability to select maps that you like. Most games let you search game modes in certain maps, but what I want is like a killstreak select page where it lists maps and you tick all the maps you would like to play in. So when you go to find game, you only get put in maps that you actually like not any map.

Ye I would, but my friends also have the maps, maybe I need new friends who don't have the map packs? But that seems like a waste just to wait for that friend to come online just to get a good game of S& before Zombies.



That's pretty long lol, once I'm in BO I play a bit of S& then I go onto Zombies. I wouldn't like to go deactivate, then go on BO and play S&, quit game then reactivate, then go on BO and play Zombies. If you haven't noticed, BO has the longest disc loading from all the PS3 CODs, Treyarch really hate us. IW atleast kept COD4 and MW2 disc loading at minimal, really fast infact.

Anyways thanks for the replies, I was looking for a more effective way of disabling the maps. And for your information, I already know every alternative I have, but there is no way of disabling just multiplayer and keeping zombies. Was hoping someone knew a way that I may have overlooked or not have known.

this would be a real good addition they should start putting in, cause i hate playing certain maps. and really like playing on certain maps. that would be great if they had that option

If you get a map you don't like, you could just back out of the lobby and search for a new game. It's not considered rage quitting because the match hasn't started yet.

lol if they let every one choose their maps then no one would play on the shitty maps. And all the noobs would choose to play nuketown cuz thats the only map where they can get kills in.

Unfortunately backing out before a game starts is what I would do, except most of the time when you play alone you get put in games that have already started, so a loss is imminent. Otherwise I do back out from maps I do not like. And technically lol it is rage quitting but not in the same sense as being killed then quitting, I quit because I raged on the map they put me in. I'm a notorious rage quitter.



Ye the feature would be a good idea as to help the developers see some of their map designs were not very well thought out, hence in some way help them design a better map for their DLC. In some aspect you can think of it like a ratings thing, so more people that play a certain map would mean developers can create maps more like those for future DLCs. Most likely releasing a second nuketown like map, which is great for those who love that map (I hate it personally). And as many say people would just have selected one map (e.g. nuketown), that really would be a problem for them as they may be limited in finding games as filtering would cause their search to be slower. And would also make their game life boring, playing the same map everyday. So in the end they may be forced to select more then 1 map just to make it more enjoyable or get more games in. But for those of us who select half the maps that are in the game would have a variety and wouldn't really quit games as much. This feature would at least help us a lot. And those who don't care what map they play, just select all the maps, so it would be as though this feature is not present. Having this feature won't hurt the game I think, it would make gaming a bit more enjoyable for many of us, and help developers design maps that the community wants.



I don't know if what you said is a good thing or you being rude. But I'll assume it's friendly ^_^. Ye it does suck for me. I know having to delete maps wouldn't be possible, but wanted to know if there was a workaround. But the map select feature would be a great addition for many call of duty players out there. Hope they add it in a future COD.

I agree. Some of that MP maps that Treyarch produces is comes of short of even halfway decent. I too wish there was a map selection type system. Call of Duty 2 had it, but they did away with it after that. People were probably just playing the same maps over and over and over.

But, there just simply isn't a way to play the zombie maps without keeping the MP maps. You would have to delete the maps altogether when playing MP, then download them again when you wanted to play zombies.

Quite annoying, but that's the only way it can be done.

Ye I gave up on multiplayer knowing that there is no way of getting the maps you want to play most of the time, having been put in maps I hate and half way games I kept leaving, it's time to let go of multiplayer. I wish I could just reset my multiplayer stats, so it would be as though I never played multiplayer. I don't want to have a record of playing the horrible excuse of multiplayer on my account. Now it's just Zombies for me and many other decent games out there, I might get back on COD multiplayer when MW3 comes out and leave when that too sucks. Hey, here's to hoping for a better game then BO this year.

Sorry, can I just ask, how do you deactivate your account and what else does this do apart from disable all DLC?
