It's easy to say "I'm going to get a job that makes good money and live a upper middle class life" but having a step by step plan to do it is what makes it happen. Sure you can be one of the "now"ers (someone who only lives for the "now" hence the name) and get lucky in the future, but personally I believe that with the right amount of determination and meticulous planning, any goal is achievable.

So what are your plans for the future? Can be short term (2-5 years) or long term (5> years), and if you believe that you can give advice to someone else in this thread because of your knowledge in a certain field, please don't restrain from giving that advice.

Go to NYU- Stern
Get Investment Banking Internship
Land an I-Banking Job @ a BB bank
Graduate from NYU
Start Job
2 Years later start working in Private Equity (KKR, Blackstone, Carlyle)
2 Years later attend Stanford Business School
Go work for a Hedge Fund or become CFO of a start up for the next 10-15 years
Have 10-15 mill in the bank (todays dollars)
Living in Argentina by the age of 45 w/out kids or wife just chilling

Well I hope to get big in the music industry. I play a lot of instruments as well as DJ. I've got good connection into the business too, so I hope to take advantage of those. I currently have a job as a DJ which should help me get into a good college along with my good grades.

Note: I'm pretty sure high school and college are different in the UK and the US, i'm from the UK.

Once I finish highschool, I'll go to college (hopefully sixth form) and get some qualifications. Then I want to go to art college to do graphic design I want to get a flat ASAP. Hopefully i'll get a good job to do with graphics, like designing posters for the council, or making CD covers for a famous artist endless posibilites

id really like to be a doctor and just help people everyday! because at the end thats all that really matters

Im about to go to college this year. Im going to be going to a Junior college for 2 years and then transfering to a different college to get a Bachelors degree. Im going to be majoring in Business. My parents own a restaurant and when im in college they plan on opening a Liquor Store and ill be taking over it when I get out of college.

Need some opinions.

- Im okay with managing money but not the best, What business degree should i be getting if Im going to be taking over a Liquor store and need better understanding of managing money?

- Should i go ahead and get my Masters in Business or just my Bachelors?
