I've scoured through hundreds of websites and tutorials looking for the best and cheapest way to grow weed. So far, all I've found out is how to grow 10+ plants for an advanced indoor grow. A guy my dad works with said to just germinate the seeds, stick them in a pot, water every now and then and use the sodium light to be on for 16 hours and off for 8. This sounds fucking perfect for me, however, it can't be that simple can it? I do know about harvesting and everything else, that isn't a problem. I just want a plant to grow decently and give me a decent smoke. I have 1 Northern Lights Auto Femi seed, some other femi seed and 2 regular seeds. I'll be using most likely a small storage box to grow it in. I don't want to go out spending hundreds on lights and equipment. I have my soil and everything else, it's just a few tips and a head start I'm looking for. Once the seeds are germinated, do I put them in the soil 1" or 2" under?

Good luck. I've never tried it myself even though I've thought about it. I wouldn't start off with growing 10 plants though... maybe like 2 - 4. It is just a plant so it's as simple as growing a plant. :p

Lots of information in here, lol. I could just use my dealer but why should I have to pay £20 for an 1/8 every time? Or £250 for an ounce, when I can just grow that for next to nothing, I'm maybe just tight but I feel I'd benefit more from keeping so much for myself plus making cash on top of it, only selling it in ounces that is. When I've planted the seeds I'll post pictures of the plants progress.

I know one thing to see if the seed is good is queeze it and if it breaks you just saved yourself the trouble, and to germinate it you could do it in a moist sponge and have the seed sit in one of the pockets and keep the sponge moist (would look up a guide for this) and for the light cycle I know its diff for the first few days then it becomes just a reg x amount light x amount dark

1. Obtain the seeds of quality, 100% female; i recommend certain varieties: white widow, ak-47, cream caramel etc from You must login or register to view this content. i buy from here for me is the best!

2. The seeds must be inserted in a jar, with peat, perlite and substances to make the ground breathable!

3. If you want to obtain good results, i recommend buying the whole range of fertilisers biobizz, and follow their steps of manuring from germination to flowering!

4. I have done the ia before cultivation in my wardrobe, i recommend a good recycling of air through vents or exhaust fans!

My tips with the light, start about 18" from the top of the tallest plant. Hold your hand over the top of the plant with the light on, If the light is hot on your hand it is too close/hot for the plant. If you can't comfortably hold your hand there for 30 seconds raise the light. If you can't raise the light tie down the plant.
Use this, Philips Advantage Fluorescent, 5000K: 1.44 PAReff.

Check out grasscity dude... I wouldn't take advice from randoms on a gaming site. At least not when knowing 90% is underage and slightly retarded.

Cheers for the advice, lads. The seeds are germinating and once germinated they'll go into a small pot to begin with, just till the roots come right out/fully grown then transplant it. That's right, yeh?
