Post: Is creating games on jtag/rgh/etc possible?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know theres many threads that inform as to what a JTAG or RGH can do, and I'm aware of the capabilities of running unsigned code, running homebrew, etc, but to what extent are those capabilities limited to exactly? For example, could someone create a game and run it on their JTAG or RGH xbox, or would that require much more such as an XDk version of the xbox? If so, what would be the requirements of that?

In other words if a JTAG or RGH can not run videogames that a person has created on a program like Unity3d for example(or any game development program for that matter), yet they have the ability to run unsigned code, then what gives an XDK the capability to do so? I haven't come across any threads that go in depth as to why a person could not just develop and program their own game with an xbox that is capable of running unsigned code and files, or a thread that explains what an XDK has that an xbox with JTAG or RGH.

(Sorry if this question is posted in the wrong section. Please move to proper section if necessary)

Yes, the possibility is there, you just need to have the XDK and various other programs, plus a lot of time. There are people all over creating "Indie games" for Xbox, go and look around at some of the stuff they've made.
