From what I know and the problems I have had with my old PS3, it seems to me your Blu-Ray is broken in your PS3 and needs to be replaced. Unless like said above, if you aren't getting this problem with other disc's then it is probably due to the current disc you have.

My ps3 started off with having problems with some discs especially EA games and BO2, after a while it had problems with all games. Cleaning disk reader lens helped for a while. Its worth a try Smile

Seems to me that you have a patch problem. Have you tried backing the game up in Multiman and patching it there?
