That sounds like your on 1.06 with a 1.08 eboot

yes, i set it up right and im on 1.08 i could play online fine without the non host menu

seriously? i just watched your video, it says 1.07xxxxx in the corner it should be saying 1.08xxxxx
go re-download the 1.08 pkg install it and try again.
