Is it safe to link a cod account to a profile AFTER being modded?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Say you got a profile modded almost a month ago. The precautions taken are to not link a cod account before its modded. Is it safe to link AFTER you're modded, or should it stay unlinked?
