try loading aw through multiman. this usually fixes the issue your having

Multiman always freezes at the starting logo screen for me. I use gamesonic manager and it works with that every time. I hope this helps guys

After every game update of AW, you have to Re-Spoof the game to your firmware. Fix your permissions from multiMAN, then click yes when it asks you to spoof, then restart your ps3 and load the game from IRISMAN. Fixed!

If that doesn't work, Re-Install all of the AW updates

Common problem. Try using IRISMan, it fixes most issues with AW.

For everyone getting a black screen and freezing, check to see if BD-Mirror is enabled. If it isn't, enable it and try again. That should solve the problem.
