I have had my Ipod touch for over a year now.
A few months back, it went into restore mode overnight.

That part wasn't the problem though...
When I go onto itunes to restore it I click restore.
Then it starts restoring, prepares my ipod for restore and then my ipod gets a loading bar. When the loading bar reaches 100% it stops restoring and on my itunes, it comes up.

Uknown error, could not restore.

Model I M1288
Generation: 2nd

I have done everything I can, I have tried restoring on Mac and Windows, I tried putting it in DFU mode but it wouldn't work...

I willl give 100,000 vBux to the person that gives me a working solution.
