(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem... Since I jail broke my Ipod touch it acts up when I plug it into my car stereo. I have to shut it down & restart it every time no when I plug it in. What could be causing this?

Sometimes the ipod will get mixed up if you have headphones in or if its connected to a stereo. when it gets connected to the stereo it sometimes brings up the headphones even though the headphones arn't even in. All you can do is just restart the ipod/ iphone.

You can also fix this by inserting your headphone jack and removing it a couple times it sometimes cleans it out so it reads it better.

Well, I don't use the headphone jack to plug it into my stereo. My stereo has a separate cord that comes from the back to plug my Ipod into. It utilizes the usb port of my Ipod so I can, completely, control my Ipod through my stereo. Like I said, I never had this problem until I did jailbreak it.

If it's using the usb thing, it probably thinks it's going to charge/sync up as if it was plugged into a computer or something. I could be wrong but it makes sense

yeah that happens as well as when you listen to headphones dust can sometimes get stuck and cause it to think that the headphones are still plugged in.
