(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey okay so my iPod was acting up and nothing worked on it, second gen jailbroken, so I went to settings and restored everything. Settings and all. Its been 5 hours, and it just shows the apple logo as does when starting up with a loading circle. It turns off and re-does that.

It said the process would only take an hour.
Any help?

Try these two methods out.

Try going into Recovery Mode Restoration method.

Hold the Home Button
While holding it connect your iPod
Keep holding until it enters Recovery Mode
Now Restore. If possible download a different firmware from the internet (Google it) or use a Custom Firmware.

Or DFU Mode
Connect iPod and turn it off (Hold Home and Power for 8-10 seconds)

Hold Power for 3 Seconds, then hold both Power and Home for 10 Seconds, then let go of Power button and keep holding Home until it shows up on iTunes

Restore like usual. Try restoring with a different firmware file (Shift-Click Restore)

If these dont work there are more things to try, but this should work

I found out my own way, for anyone who has this problem,

Go to Google, Type in ipod firmware, go to the felixbruns site, and find version 3.x for whatever type of touch iPod you have.
Download it
Put it into DFU mode
When your iTunes says there is an ipod in recovery, shift click the restore button, and locate the 3.x firmware.
Let it restore.

as long as you put i dfu mode, all you have to do is restore it. it's a common problem that occurs from time to time.
