You will need to be on firmware 4.0 for this. This doesn't work on iPod Touch 2G MC Models, iPod 3G, or some iPhone3GS.

Step 1. Download your iDevices IOS 4.0 firmware from

. Also you will need to download iTunes 9.2 if you don't have it already, and redsn0w

Step 2. Start redsn0w. Browse for your iDevices firmware 4.0. If it tells you it will not work go to the sn0wbreeze tutorial posted above.

Step 3. When choosing what you wish to install DEFINITELY choose install Cydia. And the rest whatever you want.

Step 4. Follow the steps it tells you to do. And your done. Enjoy the jailbreak.
