(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey, knew to this all so would just like a few things cleared up. i tried searching but couldnt find a definitive yes/no answer...

Anyways, ive bought a 3GS off a mate, picking it up this weekend, but its locked to O2 UK.

My questions:

1. Im on Tmobile, does jailbreaking remove the simlock???

2. is it true you have to jailbreak your iphone everytime it dies or you reset it?

3. to jailbreak ios 4.01 do i have downgrade ios first?

Im sorry for the tottaly noooobish questions (no flaming plzzzz:whistle Smile

but ive been a Winmo user for a few years and that was so easy to hack/mod, jus dont wanna screw up my new toy Smile

ive seen all the vids up here, and ye there VERY helpful, just want a bit more knowledge, knowledge never hurt now did it?!

1) No, With jailbreak you can use an Sim Un-Lock called ultrasn0w...
2) If you use the 3.1.2 Blackra1n Jailbreak, if you use Spirit you have un-tethered
3) iOS 4.0.1 is Un-Jailbreakable for now :0... so you better stay on 3.1.3 for now... there is no Full 4.0 Jailbreak unless you have an iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G.
