I have a linksys BEFVP41 router with a 10 digit wep security code. When i try to join connect to wifi my ipod finds the router but if i try to connect it always tells me its the wrong password. IT IS DEFINITELY NOT THE WRONG PASSWORD. when i was running FW 2.2.1 and 3.0 i could connect by going manually entering it and going to WPA Enterprise and putting in the WEP but that was very glitchy and it would disconnect if i locked my ipod. after i update to 3.1.2 this method no longer worked. now im at FW 4.0 and i still cant use my home internet. every other internet i connect to works even if it is WEP protected just not my home internet. my sister also has an ipod touch 2g 8gb and it too will not connect to my home internet. if i disable the WEP security then my ipod will connect without a problem but i need to keep the WEP on. Please help
