Tutorial
First get your ipod and open safari and go to this site on your device.

jailbreakme.com

or

jailbreakme.modmyi.com

Once you get to the site it should say slide to jailbreak.
Slide the slider then wait for about 5 mins [Max] and your ipod will be jailbroken, and Cydia will be on your homescreen.
If it doesnt work first time then try again a bit later and it WILL work.

And after you have jailbroken your device go into cydia and download winterboard, this will let you customise your device.
