I know all my jailbroken apps will fail, but I just wanna make sure when I update that all my music on my iPod will stay on my iPod.... because I don't have every song on my iTunes and both iPod because I used 2 computers over the span on when I've had my iPod.

So will I lose my music on my iPod when I update?

You will lose whatever you don't have on your PC you update with. Trust me.
