(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I heard rumours around my school, that you could link your Phone & iPod together to use the internet on the iPod.

If this is true, I've currently got a Sony Ericsson W205i, and an iPod Touch 2G jailbroken. Any useful advice is appreciated, thanks!

So basically either an iPhone, or a phone which barely anyone has heard of?

no, if u can get a phone to wirelessly teather via app or something you ipod can connect to it. I have a Motorola droid and i have it rooted so I can connect anything that can read a wireless signal to it, such as a laptop or a ipod.

So if you can google and find something it will most likely work.

Okay, thanks man. I've only just switched to my brother's old phone (I had a Sony Ericsson W205 w/ modded speakers, now I have a Sony Ericsson w850i). I'm hopefully getting an LG GS 290 Cookie Fresh for Xmas. If all goes well, I'll see if I can wi-fi tether it.
