The Official PlayStation App, Coming Soon To iPhone And Android

Sony recently announced on the Playstation Blog that they will be launching the official Playstation App very soon.

To download this app you must be on iOS 4 and above for iPhone/iPod Touch users, and for Android users you must be on OS 1.6 and above. Look at the pictures below for some screenshots of the app on both phones.

In version 1.0 of this app you can do the following:

-See all your trophies and keep up to date with your friends games and status.

-Discover all the latest games, news and hardware for your PlayStation 3, PSP and PlayStation 2.

-Read all the announcements and news on the European PlayStation.Blog.

-Share your favourite products or news with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail.

Version 1.0 of this app will be available to the following countires: UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and The Netherland (sadly no US )

Oh yeah and did I mention the best part? This app is going to be 100% free!

Should be a nice app.

It may not be available in the app market or store for the U.S. but that doesn't mean we can't download it and then put it on our jailbroken phones

Yeah but this is made by Sony so I'd think it would be much smoother and better. Also it's not just trophies, theres much more you can do on it.

This looks awesome. but they need to make it to where you can send messages from your phone/computer.
