If you wan't to jailbreak it right now, use redsn0w. But if you use that it will be tethered wich means if you turn it off you have to connect it to your computer and do the jailbreak again, but instead of installing cydia etc again, you just boot tethered. But if you wait a little while you will get untethered jailbreak for your Idevice, but don't upgrade to a newer firmware! Untethered means that you can turn the device of and on as much as you want.
