Well if you have a pc the untethered jailbreak should be out for pc soon. Mac version is already out. The jailbreak for 4.2.1 is really easy. You just put into DFU mode and it jailbreaks for you. The only setback is loss of warranty

If u restore ur iPhone/iPod to stock firmware (unjailbroken firmware) apple cannot see that you jailbroke it... I have replaced my iPod 2nd gen twice due to the volume buttons not working... And both times my iPod was jailbroken then restored nd apple replaced the iPods no questions asked. . Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've heard as long as you don't have cydia on ur iPhone/iPod there is no way apple can tell they were jailbroken

Can you link me to the pc one? Whats the difference between tethered and untethered?

Tethered has to be plugged in to the computer everytime you want to turn on after fully being turned off. Untethered can be turned off and on normally.

And yea sec.

In that case tethered will be fine, I rarely fully shutdown my phone anyway.
