I remember having that error a while back on my Windows laptop...

I think what I did to stop that error was to uninstall iTunes, then restart the PC then install the latest version of iTunes.

The error (I believe) is mainly because you are missing a program from iTunes (which SHOULD install automatically when iTunes is), if you have a look in your installed programs, there should be one which says "AppleMobileDevice" or something like that. If that is there; then press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up Task Manager, then look at the top; if AppleMobileDevice.exe (or something similar) IS running, then it's most likely the device which is not compatible with your version of iTunes.

If this AppleMobileDevice.exe isn't running; then just simply press CTRL+R (or Windows + R, haven't used Windows in ages), then in the Run box, type in AppleMobileDevice.exe (or whatever it's called in the installed programs list).

start task manager then go to new task and enter this :"AppleMobileDeviceHelper.exe" without quotes and press enter. if that didnt work try again but type in "iTunesHelper.exe remember all have to be typed exactly the same but without quotes and remember .exe at the end
