make sure ur IP address is right because it can change... from time to time... and the password is "alpine". without the quotes by default......

Why would you SSH? There are plenty of iphone/itouch explorers out there.

are you trying to log in on your computer from your ipod?

I'm sure that the IP is correct and know the password isn't alpine. I'm kind of a noob at this kinda thing and don't really understand keys. help is much appreciated.

to control your mac from your itouch, you need something like VNC or Teamviewer. I've got mines with TeamViewer, and it works out just fine. Download either one on both your itouch and the mac...pair them up, and it should work fine

although it works, i was trying to do it on mobileterminal for my jailbroken itouch. thanks anyway. i'm just trying to find out what is wrong with it. thanks anyway.
