You'll need:

Wifi
iDevice between 3.1 and 4.0 FW

1. Activate your wifi in settings.
2. Go to safari and in the url bar type: 'jailbreakme.com' and then slide the bar to jailbreak.
3. Let it download, if it doesn't download just hold the power button and turn it off then turn back on and repeat 'step 2'.
4. Open up cydia and let it do it's updates then it should ask you if you want to do upgrades and yes you definately want to as cydia 1.1 has been released.
5. Now, that took a while didn't it?

Well now for the good bit! go into the manage tab and go to sources now add a source called blackra1n.com and let it do it's thing...
6.Now search for 'blacksn0w' and let it download and install.
7. Isn't that brilliant you just used blackra1n untethered! It'll probably take a while for this bit though. It crashed for me so i plugged it into itunes and made it sync and that seemed to work
