If your service provider tethering you can use
your iphone as a router and yes you can link it

you can use the 3g internet on your phone to access the internet on your computer, this charges extra monthly if you have the plan set up, if you are jailbroke mywi allows your iphone to become a hotspot (wifi) if you have unlimited data on your phone you are okay, but if you have one of the limited plans like the 2gb be careful when using the internet as you may go overboard. if you are askin if you can use your home internet to access the internet in your phone without wifi, i believe there is way to make your computer tether it but it depends on the computer i believe

No you cant, iphone's wifi chip doesnt receive packets, for security reasons.
