lol. You have to turn the iPod off first then follow the directions for DFU mode. :y:

you dont have to and i cant do it that way when ever i do it it just turns on normaly :( Eek

Then you're doing it wrong. And yes you have to turn it off before you attempt to put in DFU mode. /facepalm Something tells me you shouldn't be jailbreaking.

10 second home hold withough letting go sleep
15 hold home and let go sleep

M8 like one guy said above me if you cant even make your device go DFU you should not jailbreak since you will end up screwing your device

JailbreakMe is the easiest userland jailbreak ever made. Like he said above. You shouldn't be jailbreaking.
