Ahh, that error, I remember that when I was trying to downgrade my iPhone 3G.
I
think it has something to do with the source list in the iTunes program folder (I can't remember, been ages since I last used Windows).
If you can find that source list, then have a look at what the last line is (I think it's something like com.source.apple or something like that)
