need more info what iPod model what firmware what version of iTunes (though this shouldn't really matter) why you need to restore etc.

Try putting your idevice on DFU mode and then restore. That maby help you out with that problem if not, quote me back!

Im tryin on a different computer because my Regular Computer doesnt have a 2.0 Usb reader and also my sister tried jailbreakin it when i told her not to and now i have a pain in my ass to restore

You have to use the iREB DFU pwner from either redsn0w or sn0wbreeze to be able to jailbreak from DFU mode.

According 2 iReb.. U can put ur idevice into a pwned state with it(iReb).. Then sometimes when u tried 2 restore a pwned idevice error 2003 pops up.. It can b fixed by unplugging ur idevice from the computer then plugging it back in... Then restoring..
