They said all they did was put it on its charger and when they tried to use after it was done NOTHING was there. Safari, mail, etc. None of the stock apps were there. I dont know if they upgraded or not. I told them to restore the ipod. Will this help or no. What should I do. Help?

If he asked you to do it then it his fault. Nothing will happen to you.

Yes restoring will restore everything that was on it. But it will only restore the things thats on the computer version when you updated it

alright thanks I think they updated to 4.3.1 with out knowing it

like george said its his fault for letting you do it but yeah a restore will fix pretty much every reasonable software issue

Are you sure you do a untheter jailbreak? Because maybe thats the problem he left the iPod with no charge and get OWN.
