Q1. Do I need to have my iPhone verified to a computer to jailbreak? I think you know what I mean, like synced?

Q2. Do I HAVE to restore to jailbreak?

No, you don not have to have your phone synced to a computer, just so it is unlocked. Although I do recommend it.

No, unless you are already jailbroken. Although, if you want to, you can.

Your probably thinking of the old iOS 3 jailbreaks (not including jailbreakme), all the new iOS 4 jailbreaks you don't need to restore and have synced, unless your using sn0wbreeze

julian you are 100% wrong the actual answers are No and No jailbreaking with RedSn0w will Hacktivate your iTouch or iPhone there for no need to sync with a comp and no you can JB without restore but it is advised that you do back-up your files before JB'ing

I've restored my iPhone about 6 times already and I don't really have anything of proper value on it. Smile
