A few days ago, the Facebook for iPad app was found hidden within the Facebook for iPhone 3.4.4 update. However, Facebook realised this and disabled all logins using Facebook for iPad. However, a few people have developed a new method of using it, and I'm proud to present it to you.
The solution is called "FaceForward" and is available on Cydia, meaning your iPad
must be jailbroken.
Here's how to do it:
- Launch Cydia on your iPad
- Wait for the database to cache all the updated repos, as normal.
- When it's finished, enter the Search tab.
- Search for "FaceForward" (without the quotes).
- Tap install in the top right corner, then confirm.
- Once it's installed, tap "Restart Springboard".
- Once you're resprung, launch the Facebook app.
- You're now able to log in using this tweak.
I am assuming to get it working properly you must already have hacked the Facebook for iPhone app to run the Facebook for iPad version. If you haven't already done that, use

It’s been over two years since the release of the original iPad and sadly, Facebook hasn’t incorporated iPad support into their Facebook app, until now! All you have to do is download the latest version of the Facebook app, get iFile (from Cydia) and follow the 5 simple steps listed below:
Unfortunately when Facebook heard that Jailbroken users were accessing their social network via a native iPad app, they blocked support for the “unofficial” app, you can still load it up but you will not be able to log in! While this seems useless, rest assured that Facebook is working on an iPad app.
