I heard that jail breaking voids apple's warranty (obvious) and that they know if your device was ever Jail broken even if you reset, is this true? How can they find out? If I need to get repairs done then obviously I would restore the device. I heard this from a friend who works for a major cell phone carrier in my country.
Lastly could you recommend a good app to track your device if it is ever lost? I had "Find My Iphone" on my ipod touch but it only shows you the general location not the exact location so could you give my something better?

:lol: It is fine to JB it. Even if you send it into repair they still have to repair it, because it's legal (US). So my iPod could break and I could send it in with the jailbreak and they would still repair it.
