(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys! Well, today I was talkin to LG and got bored. So I thought I would crack some more iPod Touch Game Saves. If your not sure what this is: it's either editing specific values in a game save to give you an advantage to beating the game. Or just pwnin the enemy. How do I do this? You will need a few things:

- HxD Editor
- Something that can convert dec to hex ( I use the Windows Calculator)
- to be able to SSH into your iDevice. Not sure how? Go You must login or register to view this content.
- a jailbroken iDevice
- iFile (not nescessary but helps finding the directory of your app)

Ok. Now, this method mostly works on RPG (Role-Playing-Game) because you can save money, level, your stats, etc. So yea. Hope you have one =D

So first I'll be releasing how to do this in any RPG app. I'll release specific apps later on in the tutorial.

How to edit ANY RPG app: What you want to do first is go into iFile or a program that can SSH into your iDevice (I prefer FileZilla) and look for your app. You want to go to 'var/mobile/Applications' and you should see a bunch of numbers and letters put together. For iFile, you can pull down and you will see a 'Search filenames' bar. Tap that and tap 'Hierarchy' and type in your RPG app. Once you found your app, it should say 'YourAppName.app' Just back out of that then you should see Documents, Library, tmp, and a .app. Open up the ' Awesome face

ocuments' folder and you SHOULD see something called save.dat or something similar. It all varies on the app. But once you found your save, just copy that to a folder that you can access on your computer. I call mine 'iPod Saves' then 'NameOfAppHere' So once you got your save, right click on it and hit 'Open Program With' then hit 'Choose default program'. Click on HxD (assuming you have already downloaded and installed HxD). Now the icon should change. Double click on your save. You should see a bunch of numbers and letters in pairs of 2 (i.e. 0E 4A 5B). Now go on your iDevice and open the app that you copied the save from. Let's say you copied SUPER Crazy Wars's save. Open SUPER Crazy Wars and check your money or level. Open your Dec to Hex program. Click on Dec first and enter in your $$ amount or level or skill points then click Hex. What ever number is in the Hex now, search for that in HxD. Once you have found it, go back to your Dec to Hex. Switch to Dec and enter in the amount you want and click Hex. Now replace whats in the Hex with the one in HxD. Once done editing, click CTRL + S, SSH back into your iDevice, and copy your save back to your iDevice! Now load up the app and your changes should have stayed.

Alright, I'm stopping right now. I will add more to this thread later because I'm about to look for more saves. I hope you guys like this! BTW: I did find this out myself. I was just messing with folders and stumbled apon my save.dat so I opened it in HxD. I got the idea from MW2. Alright. Peace Winky Winky
