-An iDevice
-Some Common Sense
-Some Time

That's about it. I added some screenies to make it easier for you guys. So lets get it started.

Step 1. Go to the You must login or register to view this content. website.

Step 2. Go to the support tab.

Step 3. Hit 'Check Your Service & Support Coverage' under self service.

Step 4. Enter your serial number. The serial number can be found in Settings>About>Serial Number or on the back of the iDevice

Step 5. Look under Repairs and Service Coverage. If it says Active then continue reading. If not sorry this isn't for you.

Step 6. Next to Support is a search bar type Genius Bar. It will show Genius Bar Reservations hit that.

Step 7. Select your state and store. Before continuing look down at the apple store employe. If you found it: Derp.

Step 8. Choose your iDevice

Step 9. Choose the Date and Time you desire to go to the Apple Store.

Step 10. Enter your info.

Step 11. Okay Now show up for that reservation at your apple store.

Step 12. When they ask you what the problem is tell them the following.

-Your iDevice turns on and off randomly.
-The last time it happened was that morning.
-You have restored the iDevice several times and the problem still continues.

Step 13. Now they will take your iDevice to the back and verify the hardware and software. Make sure your iDevice is NOT
jailbroken or else your warranty will be voided and you will not receive a new iDevice.

Step 14. If everything goes well one of two thins will happen. They will one have a replacement in stock and you get a new iDevice that day or two they will not have one in stock and ship a new one and receive it in about a week. They will call to notify your iDevice has arrived.'

Step 15. Make sure you have a legal adult (18 Years Old) nearby to sign the warranty papers.

this happened to me last year about 3 months after the i4 was released my sensor broke or something and my phone wouldn't turn on so i went to the genius bar and they couldn't do anything so i got a new phone. Happy

Genius bar is quaality! my 3gs got stuck on connect to itunes not even under warranty and they offered me an apple refurb for £140!

They're pretty much obligated to replace the iDevice if it is still under the 1-Year manufacturer warranty. Considering its a legit problem of course.
