Jackoplane has been working on porting Siri to older iphones. He's currently testing it on iPhone 4's and says that 3GS looks very promising. Jackoplane says Siri can be ported to any device with iOS 5 because the iPhone 4s doesn't have any special hardware to run Siri. He says the first version of the port is going to probably be released in a couple of weeks. He still doesn't know if it's going to be free because he needs to run servers to send the Apple servers information only the iPhone 4s can send.

Legal battle will happen me thinks. (Knowing Apple)

Well it was going to be free but the creator say that it may cost because he need to pay for the servers where the app send what you ask and that server send it to Apple making Apple's servers thinking is a iPhone 4S. What he is doing is easy except for the part of doing Siri because the iPhone 4S is not jailbroken so he need to create it.

Oh I understand that. My point is that when it comes to doing things like that legal battles will come along knowing how Apple likes to sue.

Well I don't now if Apple going to sue this guy but that will be stupid with this guy porting it the people will buy more iPhone 4(s) that are now at $99 that's equal to more customers for Apple and the provider :y:
