(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay This guide is for people trying to downgrade IOS 5 to 4.3.3 ON A 3GS . I'am not sure if this works for other Firmwares as I have not tried them. This guide will tell you how to get by the error 1015 and preventing a recovery loop (Plug into apple symbol)!

To do this you MUST have your SHSH blobs saved for the firmware you want to downgrade to you can check using Tiny-umbrella by plugging you iDevice in then launching Tiny-umbrella. Look to the left of the program and under connected devices you should see your device click on it then look to the right of the program and click save SHSH then look at the bottom, a green bar will load and when it gets to the end a list of the firmwares you have your SHSH blobs saved to will appear in the middle of the program. If the desired firmware is there carry on.

First we are going to change our host file. Click the start button then computer in the top copy and paste this into it \Windows\System32\drivers\etc open the hosts file in notepad delete anything that has gs.apple.com at the end of it and copy and paste this on the bottom 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com save and we are done.

Open Tiny-umbrella and Click start TSS server then open itunes

We are going to but our device in DFU mode . To do this you plug your device in , turn off your device, when fully shut down hold down the power button for 3 seconds then hold the power and home button for 10 seconds now release the power button and carry on holding the home button for another 10 seconds. If you have iTunes open you should now see a message pop up on your computer saying iPhone in recovery mode needs to be restored your device is now in DFU mode ! If this does not happen when itunes is open search google or youtube for a tutorial.

With your device now in DFU mode shift click on restore a box should pop up you are going to search for the firmware you want to downgrade to
in this case 4.3.3 double click it your device should restore as normal then at the end you should get error 1015 and go into a recovery loop this is fine and good you are on the right track.

Now we are going to open iFaith. click okay then Use DFU Pwner (iREB) then click no to run iREB for apple tv. you are now going to put your device into dfu mode again click start to follow the guide , iREB will do its thing then go back to the main menu of iFaith and click Build *signed* IPSW w/Blobs. Then browse for SHSH blobs cache then at the bottom right it wall say iFaith SHSH Files on a drop down menu click on it and change it to TinyUmbrella SHSH files then you should see a file name with 4.3.3.shsh ( or firmware you want to use )
double click it. then click download it for me this will download firmware file 4.3.3 needed for the restore. Then click Build IPSW then click the x in the top right as we have already put our device in a pwned DFU state .
Now all we need to do if you have turned TSS server off on tiny-umbrella off is turn it back on and open iTunes shift restore and then click the new firmware iFaith has made which should be on your desktop and wait for the device to restore and YOUR DONE !
