Uninstall the last jailbreak tweak or two.. and if that dont work.. a restore will always fix the problem..

Sounds like you either installed a tweak/mod causing this to happen or had a bad jailbreak with redsn0w or whatever you used. Restoring should solve the problem as with most software bugs brought about by jailbreaking.

If you have the time try to find out if two Cydia tweaks are conflicting or isolate what is causing it by uninstalling your most recent downloads.
