I recently jailbroke my iPhone 4S so would like to know what cool apps and tweaks I can get from Cydia

Good question. A lot of people straight after jailbreaking can't find the awesome tweaks and apps because it requires trawling through Cydia, which is not the best way of finding them. Google is a great start, I found You must login or register to view this content. site which has the top 10 Cydia tweaks for the iPhone 4S.

Some of the ones I use include:

• Dreamboard (I think that's what it's called)

Alright so first I'll take you though how to get free app's I'm sure you know of this alright but

> Go to cydia

> Manage tab at the bottom, then to Sources.

> Click Edit, Add and type "https://cydia.hackulo.us" With out the quotation marks. The Http:// should already be there.

> After you have done that click on the source and click "Installous 4" then click install at the top.

> When you install it a big CMD looking panel will pop up that's fine.

> The app should be added to your home screen and now you can use it to get free apps.

Other apps from cydia:

Winterboard (Lets you have custom themes)

Ifile (Lets you access all the files in your Ipod, Ipad, Iphone etc)

AndroidLock XT (Android style lock instead of numbers)

Barrel (Changes the transition between swapping pages)

ColorKeyboard (Makes the keyboard....Colourful)

Graviboard (Gives gravity to your apps with a click of a button)

iAP Cracker( This tool lets you get in app purchases for free)



Youtube will be your best friend for finding apps and themes as such, just have a look up and see what you like theres 1000's of them out there most are free some you have to pay for but there are ways to get around paying for them. I use them but I wont name them unless you need me to. In the mean time use youtube search "Paid cydia apps for free" or something along those lines.

Dashboard X and Barrel Roll are my favorites

iap cracker doesnt always work which sucks. there is also iap free which iis like iap cracker but has more games you can make in game purchases with. i got both of them so i would know :luke:

Barrel, Dashboard X, Springtomize 2, SB Settings, and BytaFont

NoNewsStand (Think it's called that) - It removed the news stand thing on your home screen.

FakeCarrier - Change your network to anything. ie rename it so your name ect

Bytafont - Download fonts

iFile - View and edit stuff on your iPhone

ReSpring Fast - Well does what it's called

Looks like some people told you some of the best already, I will only mention seven of the tweaks I have:

3G unrestrictor ( Allows you to use FaceTime via 3G and get past other restrictions such as 3G youtube low quality, when in 3G, the app store 3G download limit, you can choose what apps you want to unrestrict.)

IntelliscreenX (This is not free, there's a 3 day trial, unfortunately it's not cracked yet, but it's definitely worth buying, it gives you facebook, twitter, and other cool stuff accessible from the notification center and you can pull down notification center in lock screen, check out this video review: )

Five icon dock (This tweak allows to put five icons in your dock instead of just four)

AndroidLock XT (It's not free, but it has been cracked and you can get it for free from the source: repo.insanelyi com, or cydia.xsellize com, what this allows you to do is set a android lockscreen's dot pattern to unlock your screen, you can enable this and disable this.)

ColoredKnob (This cool tweak allows you to change the color of the slider next to slide to unlock, the standard is gray, you can enable this and disable this.)

SlideMyName - This allows you to change the slide to unlock to slide to (Insert name here), so basically you get to change to slide to (your iphone name), your name can be changed via settings, you can enable this and disable this.

CyDelete (This is one of the most useful tools for a jailbreaker, it makes your life easier, this tool allows you to delete jailbreak apps like normal apps by just holding them and tapping the X, without having to go to cydia and modify.)
