BEFORE YOU GROAN, NO, THIS IS NOT NATIVELY RUNNING ON YOUR iOS DEVICE, IT IS REMOTELY STREAMING YOUR DESKTOP TO YOUR iOS DEVICE.
Now that's out of the way, let's continue. This 'streamer' is called Splashtop. I'm sure many of you have heard of this, and for those who haven't, this is a lot of fun and very useful!
I myself have tested this on my iPhone 4, iPad 1st Gen and that is all, although I believe it works on ALL iOS devices!
Here are my step-by-step instructions on setting up your Splashtop account. It's very simple and takes no time at all! Enjoy!
Step 1: Download 'Splashtop 2' via the APP STORE on your iDevice!
Step 2: On your computer, visit You must login or register to view this content. and click on 'GET STREAMER'. This will automatically start downloading the setup wizard for Splashtop!
Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions given, and register your splashtop account! Don't just put in a fake email and password though, you will be using these to log on via you iDevice!
Step 4: Once you have Splashtop set up on your computer, and have successfully logged in, start 'Splashtop 2' on your iDevice!
Step 5: Read the information carefully on your iDevice, as it gives you very handy tips and tricks on how to use Splashtop like a pro! Then, sign in. It should take you across to a screen that shows your computer name! Tap on it!
Step 6: You are now viewing you computer on your iDevice! You can access all your files, programs, and do everything you can on your computer!
Here's a picture for some proof, as I know some people may be wary!
