Post: Need help!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, I posted a thread in the questions & help and no one decided to help me, so idk.
But here's my problem:
I have an iPad Mini (Wifi only) on IOS 6.1 Jailbroken with evasi0n. I was browsing on Safari yesterday and it froze, so I held down the Power and Home to reset/reboot it. It took like an hour or longer to reboot, and nothing will work. Safari won't turn on, etc. No jailbreak apps will work, but regular apps will. Like non-cracked apps, and settings/App Store/etc. will all work without a problem.

I've decided to just restore it, but I need to know how I can restore it back to 6.1 without updating to I think the latest is 6.1.3 , I do have my SHSH blobs saved for 6.1 for my iPad, so I need to know how I can restore back to a fresh 6.1 firmware. Thanks!

Edit: I went to go download 6.1 firmware for my iPad Mini here You must login or register to view this content. cause I figured I was going to need it, I can't find 6.1 on the list for iPad mini. :(

It's not possible to downgrade without your shsh blobs.
The other thing is it sounds like you DELETED a jailbreak tweak called evasi0n untethered jailbreak when you were deleting stuff.

When your booting the ipad up, if you didn't already restore, than you can try to power it up while holding VOLUME UP button and it should then boot.

I wasn't deleting stuff, I didn't delete that either.
and I'll try that, and I do have my SHSH blobs saved.

Glad that worked. That is a glitch on the evasi0n jailbreak. Once in awhile it's good to restart it/let it FULLY die and then that won't happen often

Can't you just put this into DFU mode & restore as a "brand new" ipod?

DFU mode

  • Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes
  • Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone)
  • Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button
  • Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected

I'm not Mr. Job's expert though so...
