I'm sure that I will be using this soon... I have not tried this, but the other folks that are using this method seem to work okay. If for some reason it doesn't work you need to put your phone into DFU mode. I'm sure you all know how to do this, but for convenience I'll list it out here.
Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes
Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone)
Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button
Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected
I installed it for half the day but due to the amount of bugs I had to uninstall :p Some apps didn't even work.
I'm starting my day for a full day, but you're right it's very buggy. I will be downgrading tonight until a more stable release is out. I'm still not sure how I like it. Somethings are good and somethings are a little strange, but that could be the beta.

Not paying for UDID activation and attempting to downgrade can semi-brick, no change of going into DFU mode, or even activating phone, no way of finding UDID, you're screwed basically, people add that to the thread.
