I was wondering if there was any helpful things to do to try and get it back. I have already put it in "lost mode" on find my iphone and it is passcode locked. The phone has been off since and I have been unable to locate it through find my iphone. Any tips are appreciated!

Huh wow, sorry to hear... Hmm I'm not an iPhone owner myself, but still i'd say call/contact mobile/cell network provider & yeah tell em it got stolen, so they can put a block on the sim card. So the thief can't just take the sim out & put/use it in another mobile/cell phone.

Oh & almost forgot, contact the police & report it to them if you haven't already.

And also if your brother's phone is insured (hopefully) then yeah contact them as-well to.

the app "Find my iPhone" might help
incase it gets turned on again
then you can see the exact adress

install it on any other apple device u own

put in the apple id u used on the stolen phone

when the stolen phone gets turned on u can see the exact location on the app

Hopefully you have received your phone back by now but if not try contacting apple or your carrier they can track it from there if not, wait till it comes online. Sorry hope it helps
