It turns out thought that when you download the tool you are given an installer which installs a bunch of adware and other annoying applications and doesn't give you the tool that can supposedly jailbreak iOS 8.1-8.1.x but before going out and just calling the tool fake I figured I would try it myself and also run a virus scan on the file that you get when you download the "jailbreak utility", so here is the virus scan and my fair warning not to use PanguNow :p
