Today proceeding the release of the all-new TaiG UnTethred Jailbreak Utility, Apple publicly released iOS 8.1.2. In the second 8.1.x update, iOS 8.1.2's predecessor: iOS 8.1.1, the TaiG UnTethered Jailbreak is not compatible with the minor iOS release. So it is recommended that all currently jailbroken iOS users remain on iOS 8.1.1 and do not update until a applicable solution is released!

As far as the changes in iOS 8.1.2 are concerned, as previously alluded to, 8.1.2 is nothing to sneeze over. In fact, unlike both 8.1 and even the substantially less important 8.1.1 update, iOS 8.1.2 doesn't offer any real improvements, revisions or additional features, it merely rectifies a complication that was causing ringtones purchased through the iTunes Store to be randomly deleted.
Therefore, updating to 8.1.2 certainly won’t justify the loss of one’s Jailbreak. Again, to summarize, 8.1.2 isn't recommended for any Jailbreaker, as it’s not currently supported by TaiG – if your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad is currently Jailbroken on any iteration of iOS 8, avoid today’s release to maintain your device’s jailbroken state.
