if you have a problem after jailbreaking the phone, and you need to return it.you should connect it to your computer and open itunes
then you need to restore the system through itunes and they will never know you jailbroke it

ive done this for my friends phone and it worked. they cant tell the difference at the AT&T store or the apple store

you can still manage your apps/synch contacts/add music hrough itunes after you jailbreak the phone
