Incase you had not gotten an answer I had this issue, (HAD this issue). I was able to fix this by injecting an RTM tool and force hosting in a custom game then going into online. everything else I tried did not work (FOR ME ANYWAY)..

I deleted the game and then copied it back to my ps3

No but the problem fixed when i installed the Nuketown DLC.
