I havent seen this on nextgen so i thought id share it bc it helped me. I found this video online and just like this guy i tried it all. No credit to me it is not my video all credit goes to the creator.
Check this out...... ive tried it all. Port forwarding. Textures. Search preferences. Hard wire. Wifi. Static ip. EVERYTHING. Came across this and gave it a try and its been my best option to date. Good luck hope this helps. Not my video.

What i did was ran a connection test. Entered in the given ip for my ps3 then my default address. I also used the 8.8.8.4 the video mentioned bigmoney. But in order for you to move past the dns numbers you still have to ener the ps3 ip and the router ip for most its gonna be something like 192.168.x.x depending on the server your using. As far as bigmoney ill look at your link but you might have to try with the numbers the video gives and the link but i used the 8884 and it has helped........

It does say 8844 in link i used the 8884 in the video and for whatever reason i saw a better connection ill try the 8844 bc that seem like what he may have meant. Thanks bigmoney

seems to be working for me. did this and was playing earlier, plus gf was streaming on other ps3 and lag was no where near what it usually is for that situation!
