It is like when you not have nuketown 2025 and the host of a private match chooses that map... a red cross will appear behind the people that don't have the map... so, when you HAVE this weapon in your create-a-class... there will appear a red cross on it, you can't use it because you don't have the map-packs

Actually it's because an update added it to the game. You still have to buy it though. The reason it was added via update and not actual DLC is so people who don't have the DLC can still see and use the gun.
