try resetting your PS3 and you computer.

Hey there, First of all DO NOT use that tool, it's really laggy. I recommend Sharks RTM v 1.4.0.0.

I myself have has that error, but I eventually fixed it.

Step 1. When you download the RTM tool there should be other files included, make sure they are all in the same directory.

Step 2. There should be a file similar to PS3tmapi_net.dll or something like that. If there is not, download a different tool.

Step 3. Go into Computer > Local disk > program file(x86) or program files > SNSystems > PS3 > bin.

Step 4. In the bin directory, you should see a file that's the same as PS3tmapi_net.dll. You want to right click and copy that file.

Step 5. Paste and replace that file in the same directory the RTM tool is in.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to start the game before Connecting and attaching the tool.

You should now be able to RTM with no problems.
