But within 5 minutes of a new account i was permanently banned. Could they have CID banned me or IP ? I tried asking Activision, but they say only Sony bans CID's!

Did you change your CID as well or just you mac address?

I own a private CID, so no I didn't!

You need to change CID as well because that is what they would have banned, You will know if they have banned your mac address because you would be able to sign to psn but you would be banned from the game server eg. Ghost, BO2 depending on what ever game you were playing at the time.

Yeah bro like I said if you can sign into PSN then your mac address is fine but if you can't sign in then it is your CID that has been banned.

Wait I'm talking about BO2 not PSN! I can sign in with my private CID, but get banned on every account on BO2

Ohh! Ok unfortunately BO2 is one of the worst games for getting instant ban I use itops .self and had no bans yet but if your on CEX use cappi as it has very minimal ban rate as well.

?? Are you playing back up online? You will still get banned even if your not modding because of the banning system they have in place, you would be beyter off and safer playing on OFW. Older COD's are ok to play back ups online but anything after MW3 is very risky.
