Post: Black ops 2 map packs not showing ingame

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi! So let me get straight into the point, I had BOPS2 for long time, with maps and everything and it was working fine. I lost the Cd, I saw the region that I used to dl the map packs ( BLES 01717 ) And I bought a disk with that region, now when I log in game my peacekeeper is gone my maps are everything. ( although I went to game data utility and the update is 3.9Gb) clearly means maps are still downloaded.

Any ideas?

I would say that you may need to delete the game data and re download all the maps again.

Or if you are on CFW then you could use a fix for all the maps and that would work.

But from the sounds of it I think it may be a different region otherwise they would all show up but if you put the disc in and it never asked for an update then it is correct region. It should not take to long to download the 2 maps that you have lost.

The only reasons I say 2 maps is because that is half the size of mine installed and I have them all Winky Winky

First try to reactivate them if you don't wanna download them again just by going into the PS Store and download them and after it says activating cancel the download and they may be reactivated. If that is the case it will save you having to download them anyways Happy

Well if you no longer have the map packs (I assume due to game sharing or banned account) then there would be no way of getting them back without downloading them again.

Unfortunatley it looks like you would have to either buy them or game share with someone to get them back.

Although how you lost them to being with still seems puzzling because they should still show up if it is the same region I only no this becuase of past experience because my first BO2 disc shattered and I got another and it was working like the first. I think I am on my 4th disc now and never had this issue before so I honestly do not think I would be able to help anymore than that.

This may be a long shot but worth a try nothing to lose but go into recovery mode (Hold power button down to turn ps3 on and keep it held down until it shuts off again, then hold the power button again and when you hear 2 quick beeps release it and you will be in recovery mode) and try to rebuild the database (option 4) and restore file system (option 3)

I got the maps off of a friend and im pretty sure im still activated on his account I just do not have the password anymore. I haven't played bops2 since last year I just got a disc today and I am pretty sure I have the packs*moab of the dead and revolution* that is because of the size of the update. (3.9Gb)

Yeah I think you may need to ask your friend for the password if they don't mind sharing it with you that is and hopefully you would be able to reactivate them without much of a hassle.

You never no if you ask your friend they may say they deactivate you form the account and that would be the reason why.

All in all ask them and see what happens Happy
